How these pages are organised

Rules by authority: Statewide rules and a jurisdiction’s own rules are shown as separate layers, each attributed to the body that made them.
Cities and unincorporated areas: An incorporated city adopts its own standards. County-administered standards apply to the unincorporated areas, which are listed as their own entries.
Every rule is cited: Each rule links to the official document, section, or page it was taken from, so you can read the source yourself.
Dates mean specific things: “Effective from” belongs to the rule set, “as of” is the date the report resolved, and “staff reviewed” is an editorial check — not a legal review.
